Assistive Technology
Assistive technology is but not limited to any additional piece of equipment that is needed for a child, with special needs, to access the computer, Ipad, TV, etc. Assistive Technologies are but not limited to switches, switch interface, modular hose arms, power links, etc.
Adapted Equipment
Adapted Equipment can be described as a device that is used to assist with completing activities of daily living and/or exercise. An example of Adapted Equipment could be an adult tricycle, Rifton Tricycle, scooterboard, swing, etc.
